Welcome to the Logistically Nonprofit Academy, operated by Logistically Nonprofit Services, Inc. (“Logistically,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Logistically Nonprofit Academy website, online courses, educational materials, downloadable resources, tools, templates, videos, quizzes, certificates, and related services (collectively, the “Academy”).
By accessing or using the Academy, creating an account, or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Academy.
1. Purpose of the Academy
The Logistically Nonprofit Academy provides educational information, training, tools, and resources intended primarily for nonprofit leaders, employees, board members, volunteers, and others interested in nonprofit management and operations.
Academy courses, including Money Management 101, are designed to improve users’ general understanding of nonprofit financial management and related organizational practices.
2. Educational Information – Not Professional Advice
The information provided through the Academy is for educational and informational purposes only.
Course materials, examples, templates, worksheets, videos, quizzes, downloads, and other resources do not constitute accounting, tax, legal, investment, audit, insurance, human resources, or other professional advice.
Although Logistically strives to provide accurate and useful information, laws, regulations, accounting standards, tax requirements, filing requirements, and nonprofit practices may change over time and may vary depending on an organization’s circumstances and location.
Users should consult an appropriately qualified accountant, CPA, attorney, tax professional, insurance professional, financial advisor, or other professional when making decisions requiring professional advice.
Participation in an Academy course does not create an accountant-client, attorney-client, financial advisor-client, or other professional relationship between you and Logistically Nonprofit Services, Inc.
3. User Accounts
Certain Academy features may require you to create a user account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account and to keep your login credentials secure.
Your account is intended for your individual use unless Logistically expressly authorizes another arrangement.
You may not:
- Share your username or password with another person;
- Allow another person to access a course using your account;
- Use another person’s account without authorization;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account or Academy systems; or
- Create accounts for fraudulent, misleading, or improper purposes.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us promptly.
4. Course Access
Course access may be provided for a specified period or on another basis stated at the time of enrollment.
Logistically may update, revise, replace, reorganize, or discontinue course content when reasonably necessary to improve the Academy, reflect changes in laws or professional practices, or maintain the accuracy and usefulness of the material.
We do not guarantee that any particular course, lesson, download, or resource will remain available indefinitely.
5. Intellectual Property and Course Materials
Unless otherwise stated, the Academy and its original content are owned by or licensed to Logistically Nonprofit Services, Inc. and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
This includes, where applicable:

- Quizzes and assessments
- Worksheets and workbooks
- Checklists
- Templates
- Calculators and tools
- Presentations

- Website content
- Academy branding and logos
Enrollment in or access to an Academy course does not transfer ownership of these materials to the user.
6. Permitted Use of Materials
Unless otherwise stated on a particular resource, Academy materials are provided for your personal or internal organizational educational use.
You may download and use authorized worksheets, templates, checklists, or tools for your own work or for the internal operations of the nonprofit organization with which you are affiliated.
You may customize authorized templates for your organization’s internal use.

- Record, copy, download, or distribute course videos or other content except where downloading is expressly permitted;

8. Course Completion and Certificates
Certain Academy courses may provide a Certificate of Completion after a user satisfies designated course requirements.
Certificates issued by the Logistically Nonprofit Academy indicate that the participant completed the applicable Academy course requirements.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, an Academy certificate:
- Does not constitute an academic degree or academic credit;
- Does not represent professional licensure;
- Does not constitute certification by a governmental agency or professional licensing body;
- Does not establish that the participant is a CPA, accountant, attorney, financial advisor, or other licensed professional; and

Users may accurately represent that they completed the applicable Logistically Nonprofit Academy course.
9. Quizzes and Assessments

Unless expressly stated otherwise, quiz results do not constitute professional certification, licensing examinations, or formal academic assessment.
10. Third-Party Resources and Links
The Academy may contain links to third-party websites, government agencies, publications, software providers, or other external resources.
These links are provided for convenience and educational purposes.
Logistically does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, or services.
A link to an external resource does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of the organization, product, service, or information provided there.
11. Accuracy and Updates
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate educational information. However, nonprofit laws, tax rules, accounting standards, filing requirements, technology, and professional practices may change.
We do not warrant that every Academy resource will always reflect the most recent legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, or other developments.
Users are responsible for confirming current requirements with appropriate government agencies or qualified professionals when necessary.
12. No Guarantee of Results
The Academy is intended to provide education, resources, and practical tools.
We do not guarantee that participation in an Academy course will produce any particular financial, operational, fundraising, compliance, employment, organizational, or other result.
Each nonprofit organization and individual is responsible for evaluating how course information applies to their own circumstances.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Academy and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Logistically does not guarantee that the Academy will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free from technical problems.
We do not make warranties regarding the completeness, reliability, accuracy, or suitability of Academy materials for any particular user’s circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Logistically Nonprofit Services, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages arising from or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the Academy or its materials.
Users remain responsible for decisions made based on Academy information and for obtaining appropriate professional advice when necessary.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
15. Suspension or Termination of Access
Logistically may suspend or terminate a user’s access to the Academy when reasonably necessary because of:
- Violation of these Terms;
- Unauthorized sharing or distribution of Academy materials;
- Unauthorized account sharing;
- Fraudulent or unlawful activity;

- Conduct that materially interferes with the operation of the Academy or the rights of other users.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a violation before terminating access.

Updated Terms will be posted on the Academy website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
When appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
Continued use of the Academy after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
